A workshop on the museum’s architecture with native educators to learn English through contemporary architecture while having fun!
The workshop, which is entirely in English, is divided into two parts: the visit to/exploration of the architecture of the MAXXI museum and the “practical workshop”.
The visit/exploration part will see the educator ask both children and adults to describe the exhibition galleries and the details of the structure, which will be then discussed together by use of simple questions, useful to pinpoint keywords to use during the workshop phase.
The second part, namely the “practical workshop”, will see adults and children reinterpret Zaha Hadid’s architecture by use of different materials and instruments.
Organised by MAXXI Education in cooperation with the Art and Seek for Kids Association. The activity is promoted by the British Council within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding with the MAXXI Foundation.
