On the occasion of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Italian law 180, known as Basaglia law, MAXXI will host a photographic exhibition by Fabrizio Borelli, curated by Maria Italia Zacheo, which proposes a selection of photographs by the Roman artist taken in the autumn of 1979 for the Uomini e recinti (Men and fences) event, held while Italian law 180 was being discussed.
The inauguration of the exhibition will be preceded, on Thursday 10th May at 3:00 p.m. at the Graziella Lonardi Buontempo hall, by an event organized in collaboration with the Rome 1 ASL on the topic of mental health 40 years from the entry into force of Italian law 180.
Opening: Thursday 10th May at 7:00 p.m.
The exhibition is supported by the Rome II Municipality in collaboration with Fondazione MAXXI
