From 3 rd to 7 th December 2018, we are running an in-depth course exploring publishing practice in the art and architecture sectors: from the strategies necessary for devising a product that responds to the interests of the public, to the choice of critical essays and much more.
The course aims to examine the complex world of publishing through the involvement of professionals working within the sector: specialised publishers, translators, printers, editors and graphic designers, withexperts from publishers Marsilio, Corraini, Quodlibet and Three Stars Books amongst the teachers. Lectures, laboratories, workshops, seminars and meetings will be used to uncover all the many facets of the fascinating world of contemporary art and architecture publishing.
WHEN
The training course and the workshop will take place at the museum from Monday 3 rd December to Friday 7 th December 2018, from 9 am to 6 pm.
WHO IT’S FOR
The course is aimed at those new to the field, as well as experts and professionals in the sector.
The course will run with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 participants
FEE
The fee for a single participant is € 525 and includes the purchase of an individual myMAXXI card. The course fee is € 490 for participants who already have a membership card myMAXXI
Any travel, sustenance or accommodation costs should be borne by the participants.
ENROLLING
To apply to participate in the advanced training course, fill out the form by 12 pm on 22 nd November..
MAXXI will select the participants, based on their CVs, by 26 th November. The participation fee must be paid by 28 th November.
INTERNSHIPS
