GIVING FORM TO LIGHT
Workshop on the exhibition Projections. Installations from the MAXXI Arte Collections
What does it involve?
Unusual environments in which light and colour give form to space, images in movement, enveloping shells: the children immerse themselves in an extraordinary cognitive and emotive experience. From sculpture to installation, from environments to video, how do artists design space with light? The children find out by interacting with the works on show during an exploratory visit and while experimenting in the dark how an artwork rises with lights and drawings.
When?
From October 2012 to June 2013
Duration 1h and 30’
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10.00
Thursdays and Fridays from 11.00
