A meeting to imagine the future of Rome together and consider the role that the city can play in the coming decades.

During the event, the results of the research conducted by Laboratorio Roma050 will be presented. The project was created with the aim of developing a strategic vision for the city in 2050 and imagining the future of the capital as a possible model of an “Metropoli Arcipelago”, a project also featured in the December 2025 issue of Domus magazine.

The meeting is an opportunity to share the vision for Rome in 2030 and 2050 and the ecological transition strategy that supports it, integrating social, environmental and infrastructural dimensions. The tools that have guided the project path will also be illustrated – the Fresco of Future Rome, the Atlas of Transformations and the Charter for Rome – part of a single vision designed to understand and guide the urban evolution of the city.

In collaboration with Domus and Laboratorio Roma050. Laboratorio Roma050 is promoted by Roma Capitale, the Department of Urban Planning with Risorse per Roma S.p.A. The laboratory is directed by Stefano Boeri, coordinated by Matteo Costanzo and Eloisa Susanna, and composed of Giorgio Azzariti, Giulia Benati, Jacopo Costanzo, Margherita Erbani, Carmelo Gagliano, Susan Isawi, Riccardo Ruggeri and Marco Tanzilli.
