A book that, starting from reflections on contemporary performing arts, explores the interconnections and practices that drive the Nomadic School.

Created in 2020 by Office for a Human Theatre [OHT], the Nomadic School takes place every summer at an altitude of around 2,000 metres in the Alps to develop, as the book’s editors Filippo Andreatta and Sarah Messerschmidt write, an alternative educational programme rooted in artistic creativity, which practises horizontal learning and pedagogical openness.
