The volume, part of the MAXXI Architettura Archive Centre’s Quaderni series, brings together the inventory of the professional archives of Segio Musmeci and Zenaide Zannini and is intended as an easy tool for scholars and the museum’s public, useful for retracing the innovative and rigorous research of these figures, poised between engineering and architecture. The texts, interviews and documents reproduced are accompanied by photos, plans and drawings that visually narrate some of the most characteristic examples of their contribution. A biographical and bibliographical apparatus and some hitherto unpublished texts that Musmeci had written for a volume to be published with Bruno Zevi make this book an indispensable medium for interpreting his thought and developing future research.
