Published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name at MAXXI, the volume is the first monograph dedicated to the figure of Ponti as an architect and brings together contributions from around forty curators, architects and personalities from the Italian and international academic world. Edited by Maristella Casciato and Fulvio Irace, the publication also presents an exhaustive and richly illustrated biography of the author. In addition to often previously unpublished images, are the author shots commissioned to six leading Italian photographers, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of some of the most significant works in the architect’s career.
