This volume is dedicated to the multimedia installation presenting the complete works of Douglas Gordon, one of the most influential figures in contemporary video art. It is Pretty much every film and video work from about 1992 until now…, a work that brings together the complete catalogue of films and videos produced by the artist to date. Comprising 114 monitors of various formats, the work constitutes a dynamic archive, an uninterrupted stream of images and sounds that is reorganised, recombined and updated as Gordon’s filmography continues to expand. Conceived as an artist’s book, the volume takes the form of a collection of 114 postcards, to be sent, collected and rearranged as one pleases.
