A talk with the pioneering sound art artist to explore her research between visual and sound art.
Christina Kubisch creates immaterial and invisible sound environments that are activated by the public’s interaction through devices made directly by the artist.
The work on display, The Bird Tree, seems to convey these two aspects of the artist’s work, the pictorial and the audio: on the one hand, the cable that draws the shape of a tree; on the other, the presence of an invisible sound environment, within which the observer immerses himself by creating their visual path.
