The presentation of the books Preserving and Exhibiting Media Art and Media Art Installations. Preservation and Presentation offers an opportunity to discuss some of the most urgent issues associated with strategies of conservation and presentation of contemporary art that uses experimental technologies and complex media.
Over recent decades the international debate regarding conservation and documentation of New Media Art has been tackled by both public museums and private galleries and collections with the aim of drawing up shared research protocols.
