We retrace the steps of the research work behind Romanistan, the project that won the 2018 Italian Council award.
A special meeting with the artist Luca Vitone, during which he will present Romanistan, the project that won the fourth edition of the Italian Council (2018) that tells about Luca Vitone’s journey from Bologna to Chandigarh, who travels backwards through the route taken by the Roma and Sinti from Northwest India to Italy.
In a conversation with the curator and critic Cristiana Perrella, the critic Gianni Garrera, and the musician and composer Santino Spinelli, the artist will retrace the phases of his artistic research that lead him to develop this work.
The meeting will also be an occasion to present the publication dedicated to Romanistan, published by Humboldt Books.
