On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the via Fani massacre, MAXXI will remember Aldo Moro through a series of initiatives recounting the abduction and imprisonment of the Italian statesman.
Il condannato – Cronaca di un sequestro
a film-doc by Ezio Mauro
directed by Simona Ercolani and Cristian Di Mattia
Italy 2018, b/w and col., 97′
produced by Stand by me and Rai Cinema in collaboration with La Repubblica
The journalist and historical director of Repubblica retraces the 55 days in which Moro was held prisoner with a hard-hitting, moving investigative report carried out in the very places where everything took place, with documents, images, finds and new interviews.
