Screening of the film marking the 50th anniversary
of the Beatles’ appearance in Rome

In the June of 1965, during their European tour, the Beatles appeared in Rome.
That year the director Richard Lester shot Help!, the second film to feature the Fab Four after the extraordinary success of A Hard Day’s Night.
A zany comedy referencing the style of the Marx brothers, Help! Parodied the James Bond films. The film will be introduced by Fabrizio Zampa, the celebrated journalist who at the time interviewed the Beatles and reported on the legendary concert, the music critic Gino Castaldi and the musician Teho Teardo.
Fabrizio Zampa, Gino Castaldi and Teho Teardo will then be in conversation with the film critic Mario Sesti.
