An insight into the artist’s film Bedfellows, premiering on March 3 (and until March 5) at the Museum’s videogallery.
A conversation between Canadian artist Frances Adair Mckenzie, Julie Leclair and poet Maya Khamala, on the major themes that inspired the video Bedfellows.
The unreleased video Bedfellows is a reflection on the alienating condition of our historical period. With this video the artist questions what it means to live, thrive and die and proposes a radically different future inspired by forest biology and feminist ecology.
Institutional greetings
Alexandra Bugailiskis Ambassador of Canada to Italy
Introduction
Irene de Vico Fallani Head of MAXXI Public Program
the conversation was curated by Livia Filotico, Ida’s Creative Director and strategist
