talk + concert150 years since Arnold Schönberg’s birth
The interweaving of social, family and artistic relationships and travel experiences that helped define the artist’s personal character and sensibility.
The book retraces some of the aspects of Del Donno’s life, such as his initial figurative experiments dating back to the early 1950s, his profound religiosity or his strong criticism of the art world’s consumerist approach, elements that contributed to the definition of an artistic path that was to find confirmation in the international achievements of the presence of Del Donno’s works at the MoMA in New York, the Vatican Museums, and the Pecci Museum in Prato.
