A meeting to inaugurate the “Rita Levi-Montalcini” Observatory, a new tool for analysing gender equality policies and their social and economic impacts.

The Rita Levi-Montalcini Observatory, promoted by Svimez and W20, was established with the aim of collecting data, developing indicators and producing studies and recommendations useful for guiding more equitable public policies, with particular attention to territorial differences in Italy, in the South and in the international context, recognising gender equality as a strategic lever for the sustainable development of the country and for the future of the younger generations.

The presentation event inaugurates the Observatory’s journey in a symbolic year, 2026, which marks two anniversaries linked to Rita Levi-Montalcini: forty years since she won the Nobel Prize for Medicine and twenty-five years since her appointment as a life senator.

In collaboration with Svimez and W20.
