A collection of forty-four photographs of cats taken by renowned photographer Ferdinando Scianna over the course of sixty years of work, travel and darkroom sessions.

Inspired by the famous verses of the song presented at the Zecchino d’Oro in 1968, a “photographic tribute in the form of a song” to the most beloved animal, accompanied by a short text by Leonardo Sciascia, dedicated to the memory of a daring country cat who wanted to become a dog. The event inaugurates the unprecedented and special exhibition of some of the photographs featured in the book, on display until 15 March in the foyer of the Carlo Scarpa hall.
