Starting with the new edition of the book edited by Gabriele Simongini, a tribute to the multifaceted figure of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, 150 years after his birth.

Published in 1921 by Edizioni Futuriste in “Poesia”, Emilio Settimelli’s Marinetti. L’uomo e l’artista (Marinetti. The Man and the Artist) is a lively and dynamic text, even in its narrative rhythm, which presents the father of Futurism “live” and in action. Divided into six chapters, the book reflects Settimelli’s unyielding rebelliousness and his close relationship with the volcanic Filippo Tommaso Marinetti until 1921, shortly before their relationship began to deteriorate, culminating in Marinetti’s famous “excommunication” of the Florentine writer in 1933.
