INSIDE PIANO
Film screening. Introduced by Marco Brizzi

This film accompanies us on an exploration of three symbolic examples of Renzo Piano’s architecture. It begins with a visit to the B&B Italia headquarters at Novedrate (CO), a prototype of the Centre Pompidou, and continues with Espace de projection at IRCAM, an immersion into the sound-proofed world of a submarine imagination fluctuating in the depths of subterranean Paris. It concludes with a trip aboard the luminous magic carpet of a sophisticated architectural machine: the Beyeler Foundation at Riehen in Switzerland. A caustic and original view of the work of the great Genoan architect.
