Two days exploring and debating the fundamental role of the bicycle in the development of a sustainable green economy
The bicycle is so much more than a means of transport with two pedals and a chain as it was thought of up to a few years ago. Today the bicycle is at the centre of a green economy than can make a decisive contribution to the epochal change with primary objective of our future quality of life.
The tragic evolution of the climate, planetary pollution, the infernal situation of mobility within ever larger metropolises that oscillate between an unliveable state and a desire to become smart cities, the irresistible need to extend life by improving its quality, by improving health and preventing the most diverse diseases, ecology and a slower, more intense tourism, environmental sustainability, technology, clean and renewable energy are just a few of the many facets that turn the wheels of a bicycle.
Experts, politicians, journalists, sports people and activists will be speaking and debating around this theme.
