Sunday 21 April
MAXXI will be offering all those visitors arriving at the museum by bike on Sunday 21 April a reduced price entrance ticket (€8 instead of €11).
Cyclists may park their bikes in the fifty racks installed inside the museum gates, MAXXI’s contribution to sustainable mobility in the city, and then enjoy their visit.
For the occasion an enthusiastic group of Roman cyclists has organized a cultural bike ride. The group is meeting at 11.30 in Piazza San Silvestro, the first “bike square” in the heart of Rome, and then pedalling to MAXXI together.
With this initiative MAXX is anticipating the celebrations for the World Earth Day, promoted by the UN and scheduled for Monday 22 April (the museum’s closing day), and is making its contribution to the celebrations for the Birth of Rome.
