TalkFast Forwarded. Lithuanian video art since the ’90s

Video Gallery – free entry until full capacity

A narrative and chronological review of Lithuanian video art

An event dedicated to Lithuanian video art from the 90’s to present day on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic of Lithuania, within the framework of FLUX. Lithuanian Art Festival.

The initiative retraces the evolution of the artistic language that accompanied the radical cultural, social, economic and political transformation undergone by the country at the turn of the century.
By use of the experiments of young artists and renowned authors, of which some extracts will be presented, the event will offer a narrative and chronological review of Lithuanian video art connected to the different contemporary visual media within the international framework.
