MAXXI, Corner D
MAXXI presents the 34 best projects from DAB6 – Design for Artshops and Bookshops, a competition launched by the municipality of Modena, promoted by GAI and supported by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage. On show are prototypes of objects that designers under 35 years of age have conceived for the artshops and bookshops of Italian museums: 11 of them will receive funding to transform their idea into reality.
From design to prototype through to its creation and exhibition to the public. The show features the 34 best projects and prototypes for objects destined for sale in Italian museum artshops and bookshops, all conceived by designers of between 18 and 34 years of age. The nature of the work presented is extremely varied, ranging from gadgets and stationery products to foodstuffs by way of clothing and the most diverse accessories: offering a broad and articulated overview of the infinite possibilities design can offer.
