The artist exalts the manual gesture, an unavoidable and conceptual condition that unites craft tradition and time.
Time is the primary material narrated by her works, large site-specific installations such as Greetings from Venice created for the spaces of Fondaco dei Tedeschi, an ancient mercantile pole and former headquarters of the Venice Post Office. The work, consisting of 100,000 postage stamps, is an obvious reference to the floor of St. Mark’s Basilica and appears as an archaeological find and displays a journey through time and history.
