Published on the occasion of the eponymous 2025 exhibition curated by artist Oscar Tuazon, this volume serves both as an accompaniment to and a continuation of Tuazon’s Water School project. It brings together works by fifteen artists who explore water as a living substance and expressive medium, probing its elemental force through a poetic perspective. The language of water is poetry: Tuazon adopts it as a guiding thread, interweaving reflections by twentieth-century poets with new, previously unpublished compositions by Eileen Myles, Lisa Robertson and Cedar Sigo.
