Pietromarchi, Bartolomeo
Born in Rome, 5.4.1968. From 1997 to 2003 he has been the initiator and curator of the Contemporary Art Program of the Adriano Olivetti Foundation in Rome. From 2003 to 2007 he has been appointed Artistic Director of the Foundation. From 2008 is collaborating with the MAXXI Museum in Rome for the opening exhibition and program and the Premio Italia for contemporary art. He has curated some international exhibition and catalogues like, recently, Santiago Sierra. Ponticelli, MADRE Museo d’arte Donna Regina, Napoli 2009, Alfredo Jaar. It is Difficult, (with Gabi Scardi), Hangar Bicocca Spazio d’arte contemporanea and Spazio Oberdan, Milano, 2008. From 2016 is director of MAXXI Arte.
