The grandson of the two great architects and designers signs a biography that follows the unfolding of a life project that combined love and work, ideas and genius.
Aalto always named his exhibitions and signed his works after Aino and Alvar Aalto. It was not just a gentlemanly gesture to put his wife’s name first: from the earliest years of the studio, the foundation of their solid and stable marriage was collaboration and shared goals.
