In collaboration with the Ministry of European Affairs – Department of European Polices, the European Parliament, the European Union and the Ragnarock Cultural Association, MAXXI is presenting a series of initiatives designed for students and the general public and celebrating the Festival of Europe.
For the occasion all visitors will benefit from reduced price museum entrance tickets (€8 instead of €11) throughout the day .

In the museum piazza an actress will welcome the classes that have signed up for the day-event and will lead them on an exploration of European values through four different display rooms named for the occasion after some of the founding fathers of the EU and each dedicated to a specific art: Winston Churchill – Film; Altiero Spinelli – Theatre and Literature; Konrad Adenauer – Music; Alcide De Gasperi – Visual Art.

Through line and colour, Maurizio Ribichini will involve adults and children in the realization of a story told through images regarding the fundamental values of the European Union, underlining the wealth of the diverse cultures, traditions and languages of our continent.
Moreover, from 10.00 to 18.00 in the MAXXI piazza, an information desk manned by the Department of European Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers will be at the disposition of all students seeking information on the EU programmes favouring mobility and learning.
