MICHELANGELO PISTOLETTO: Da Uno a Molti, 1956-1974 e CITTADELLARTE 4 March - 15 August 2011 MAXXI, in collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is devoting two exhibitions to the great Italian artist, one of the founders of the Arte Povera movement and a guiding light for younger generations: MICHELANGELO PISTOLETTO: Da Uno a Molti, 1956-1974, featuring over 100 works from Italian and American public and private collections and Cittadellarte, focussing on the homonymous creative laboratory founded by Pistoletto in Biella in 1998, where art becomes civic and social commitment.

The learning lab for children of between 7 and 12 years of age and their parents Try drawing with pixels! allows you to try out the new Nintendo software Art Academy via 45 Nintendo DSi XL consoles. Step by step, Art Academy will teach you the techniques of drawing and painting: a fun, stimulating and interactive way of getting to know the world of art.
