Summer at MAXXI 2019

The museum’s programme goes on in the MAXXI square and halls with artistic, architectural, photographic and literary events, cinematography screenings, music, video art and performances. Until Sunday, 13 October it all takes place at the same time at MAXXI.

A lot of meetings and personalities take turns during the events, talks, concerts and so much more. Like the screening of the documentary-inquiry Follow the paintings that includes a discussion in the presence of Federico Cafiero De Raho, National anti-Mafia Prosecutor.

Furthermore, the contemporary music and avant-garde sounds of the Spring Attitude Festival and a great international guest: Michael Stipe, the legendary leader of R.E.M., this time not as a singer but as a skilled, experienced and visionary photographer.

The Summer at MAXXI is getting more and more interdisciplinary including about thirty appointments which will close on Saturday 12 October, on the occasion of the Giornata del Contemporaneo (Day of the Contemporary) promoted by AMACI.
