The home in the wardrobe

An exploration of the design thinking of the great architect Gio Ponti, in an attempt to overthrow the stereotypes of habitation and experience it infinite expressive potential.

Following an exploratory exhibition visit, the students will take a model of a minimum dwelling inspired by the prototype home in a wardrobe and play the role of designer; by combining the few simple elements they are provided with, they will be asked to try to imagine how to integrate the basic structure to make it reversible and adaptable to the most diverse demands.
