YAP Rome at MAXXI Young Architects Program 2020 edition
YAP Rome at MAXXI, the program that promotes and supports emerging architecture, organized by MAXXI in partnership with MoMA and MoMA PS1 and in collaboration with Constructo in Santiago de Chile, is becoming increasingly international.
The jury, composed by a group of MAXXI’s representatives, has selected the finalists, architectural firms coming from all over Europe that have been proposed by a group of experts and, for the very first time, by the members of the European network Future Architecture Platform.
The five finalists are: Ateliermob (Portugal) – Andreia Salavessa, Mariana Robalo, Carolina Batlle Y Font, Rita Mansinho e Tiago Mota Saraiva; Breathe Earth Collective (Austria) – Karlheinz Boiger, Lisa Maria Enzenhofer, Andreas Goritschnig, Markus Jeschaunig, Bernhard König; Ecòl (Italy)- Emanuele Barili, Cosimo Balestri, Olivia Gori; Gnomone (Italy) – Federica Andreoni, Mattia Biagi, Annachiara Bonora, Valerio Socciarelli; Lucy Styles (England).
By the end of January these architectural firms will have to present their projects for a temporary outdoor installation, that will host the MAXXI summer events in its piazza.
