The story of one of the most innovative architectural projects in recent years, designed by Studio Z14.

The utterly transparent office complex, housing the new IBM headquarters, built in Rome, is thought to be an urban signal in the surrounding landscape of the area, especially at night, when it emits light from the inside towards the outside. The transparency of the volumes during the evening hours translates into a light that transforms the entire building into an urban lantern, a landmark that becomes a symbol of orientation within the city.

Three large lanterns, three glass envelops, three transparent volumes, three fragments inserted into the project, let themselves be permeated from the outside becoming places designed by light. The complex, near the ancient Via Portuense, integrates completely with the surrounding landscape and constitutes a unitary organism with the archaeological park and the surrounding green areas.
