MAXXI’s Collection of Art and Architecture represents the founding element of the museum and defines its identity. Since October 2015, it has been on display with different arrangements of works.
34 hours non-stop and a mix of expertise to charge the museum with innovative energy
Arriving on 27th and 28th October is the second edition of Museum Booster, the large-scale digital marathon dedicated to the most innovative ideas and services able to reinvent 21st century museums.
THE CHALLENGE
This year’s challenge is how blockchain technology can be applied in a museum and bring its “revolutionising” to the world of art and culture.
THE PRIZE
A jury of experts will evaluate the work presented by the teams. The winning team will receive 8.000 euros and the opportunity to test their project at MAXXI.
WHO THE EVENT IS FOR
Programmers, designers, developers, entrepreneurs, experts in communication, marketing or copyright, copywriters, art director, data analysts, those that are interested in technology, innovation and art and that have an idea or an interesting project that can be developed through the competition.
PARTICIPATION
Participation is free and is open to groups of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people, or to individuals who can form their group on the day of the hackathon, independently or with the support of the organisers.To sign up, you must register the Team or individual by filling out the entry form below by 12 pm on 18th October 2018. There is a maximum capacity of 100 participants.
DATES AND TIMES
The hackathon will start at 9.00 am on 27th October 2018 and will finish at 7.00 pm on 28th October 2018.
The competition is scheduled to start at 11.00 am on 27th October and the resulting prototypes or mock-ups and presentations must be delivered no later than 4.00 pm on 28th October.
