curated by Alessandra Bonavina
A video-photographic journey behind the scenes of space exploration.
It was July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong set foot on the Moon. From that day it’s been half a century of science and technology development, both main characters of an unimaginable acceleration that lead to discoveries able to change the whole world, life itself and the way we inhabit our planet.
Lunar City, the documentary by Alessandra Bonavina, tells the story of a future Moon. A passionate behind the scenes of labs, launching pads of all major space agencies, such as NASA, ESA and ASI, to reveal how they are planning the future of human exploration in outer space.
The exhibit is a discovery journey unfolding the enigmas and curiosities around the Moon: a unique chance to learn both present and future of space exploration through exceptional photo and video proofs.
An ASI – Agenzia Spaziale Italiana and Regione Lazio coproduction. With the support of NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the American Embassy in Italy.
