Founded in Strasburg on 25 June 2008 at the behest of Michelangelo Pistoletto and Love Difference in collaboration with Apollonia, the PCM was created to promote the active role of art and culture in the definition of new policies for the Mediterranean.?
During the encounter around the Table of the Mediterranean, particular attention will be paid to the processes of civil and political evolution in North Africa through the participation of the Egyptian association Gudran for Art and Development from Alexandria in Egypt and the El Teatro group from Tunis, active representatives of the Mediterranean revolutions of recent months and for years promoters of social transformations in which culture and art are the foundations of change.
For the occasion there will be a screening of the video by the artist Maria Rosa Jijon on the Mediterranean Cultural Parliament realised in Marseille.
