Every Saturday (at 12.00) MAXXI is proposing its visitors guided visits to MAXXI’s “secret” spaces, its usually inaccessible areas, to discover the techniques and materials that made possible its realisation and to fully appreciate this fascinating building.
/Meeting point: the large-scale model of the museum
What is MAXXI? How does it fit together? How was it built? The site, the construction of the great building
//On the ramp leading to the exhibition galleries
The functioning of the museum machine, the materials, the technology
///In Gallery 4
The technical wall, the ventilation and climate control systems
////Access to the roof and the “scala a goccia”
The skylights, the grilles, natural light and artificial light
