This year is also the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington organized by Martin Luther King on the 28th of August 1963 in support of the rights of Afro-Americans. The exhibition is being staged in collaboration with MAXXI and with the contribution of the Fondazione Roma.

Around 80 photos will be on show at MAXXI commemorating the long battle for civil rights and the important role played by the brothers John and Robert Kennedy. In parallel, Gruppo Sorgente will be presenting a selection of images on the same theme at the Galleria Alberto Sordi in Via del Corso, Rome.
