On the occasion of the focus dedicated to her, the Museum will preview the screening of the video Ho annegato il mare and the audience will have a special meeting with the artist.
An evening dedicated to Elena Bellantoni, during the focus dedicated to her, with the preview in Rome of her video Ho annegato il mare (2018) created for the Manifesta 12 event in Palermo. The work shows the relationship between citizens and the sea starting from its refusal, activating performative actions and moments intended as interaction devices; the result is the creation of a meeting and narration area.
The evening will also be an occasion to talk about the artist’s latest project, On The Breadline, winner of the 4th edition of the Italian Council (2018) with the presentation of the catalogue published by Quodlibet edizioni and a screening of an extract of the work. The project is curated by Benedetta Carpi De Resmini and promoted by Wunderbar Cultural Projects.
