WORKSHOP AGENCY – POWER GAMES
Gallery 5
With the support of the other works on show, the Adelita Husni-Bey workshop project transforms part of the museum into a temporarily independent zone for utopian proposals.
The students from Rome’s Manara Classical High School will be analysing together with the artist the relationships of power characterising capitalist society. Divided into different groups, the participants are invited to take on the roles of social players: politicians, bankers, journalists and workers
The introduction of the performative dimension to an exhibition space permits the museum to develop a more direct relationship with the contemporary social context. Here, through the mediation of the museum educators, the artist, the students and the general public commit to an experiment in collaboration and the production of a creative project for a common alternative
