Anselmi engraver

Friday 4 April, 16.30
Architecture Archives Centre Study Room – free admittance

On the occasion of the final week of the exhibition Alessandro Anselmi. Figures and Fragments, a round table and the screening of a specially produced documentary video present Alessandro Anselmi’s work as an engraver.

From 2009 to 2012, Anselmi was one of the protagonists of the Engraved Architecture project, conceived and realised by the Italian National Graphic Institute, with the production of over 200 graphic works by contemporary architects. This initiative brought generations of architects face to face, comparing past and present, tradition and innovation, while offering contemporary practitioners the opportunity to experiment with a now prevalently artistic means of expression.

There will be a screening of the video Alessandro Anselmi. The horizon of events (an ING/MAXXI production, 2014, duration 12’).
