On the margins. Stories of life on the street

Carlo Scarpa Room – admission free subject to availability of places
The first 10 myMAXXI cardholders to write to maymaxxi@fondazionemaxxi.it by the day of the event may reserve places, subject to availability.

An occasion to talk, from different but related points, of view about the hidden face of the city.

An event to explore and investigate the relationship between the art world and that of the social work in the face of the all too frequently complicated and contradictory reality of our cities and the difficulties of those obliged to live on their margins.

Starting out from the exhibition The street. Where the world is made, dedicated to the street as a place of sharing and innovation, the principal laboratory for artists, architects and creatives, the artist Eugenio Tibaldi, whose series Architettura minima constitutes a study of the improvised shelters of the homeless, talks to Debora Diodati, president of the Croce Rossa in Rome, an institution that has always been committed to voluntary work with homeless people.
