Le Corbusier from art to architecture
Exploratory visit to the exhibition L’Italia di Le Corbusier

What does it involve?
From the years spent at the School of Decorative Arts to his last projects, the exhibition explores the Swiss architect’s long and fertile relationship with Italy.
Sketches, drawings, models and photos describe the process that led Le Corbusier to discover architecture through the observation of a landscape in a constant relationship with history. The students will follow the architect’s journey through Italy from Rome to Tuscany and Venice in order to understand through drawing how Le Corbusier’s architecture was born: from the observation of details by way of the abstraction of the geometric volume.
