A girl and an abandoned mongrel, Hagen: heroes of a stunning and adventurous coming together of state, society and family. A ruthless parable in the style of Polanksi rather than a fable. The only film in the world featuring 274 dogs, it won ‘Un certain Regard’ at Cannes in 2014 and was presented at the Courmayeur Noir in Festival. A beginning, and an end, that leave you speechless: a discovery not to be missed.

The film will be preceded by the short
Panorama
by Gianluca Abbate, Italy 2014, 7’

A prize-winner at the Torino Film Festival, this is the first short in a trilogy about the city: a crowded and joyous encounter between art and film, as if Zbig had shot a short by Jodorowski. Within the framing, the sound by Virginia Eleuteri Serpieri is as jubilant and pullulating as the images.
