Biographies

Reichlin, Bruno

Graduated in Architecture at Federal Polytechnic Institute of Zurich (ETHZ), Bruno Reichlin was assistant to Giovanni K. Köning at University of Florence from 1969 at 1970 and to Aldo Rossi at ETHZ from 1972 to 1974. He was scientific collaborator at Institut für Geschichte und Theorie der Architektur of Federal Polytechnic Institute of Zurich (1983-1984), Professor at Ecole d’architecture de Nancy (1983- 1984), at Ecole d’Architecture of Geneva (1995-2006) where he was responsible for the third cycle of studies Sauvegarde du patrimoine bâti. Since 2000 he has been teaching at Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio. He is author of numerous projects and architectural works realized with Fabio Reinhart, Marie-Claude Bétrix and Eraldo Consolascio, and Santiago Calatrava. With Gabriele Geronzi he designed various furniture for Molteni. As an author, curator and architect he followed varied exhibitions. He is also author of many studies and essays on Le Corbusier, Max Bill, Frederick Kiesler, Asnago and Vender, Robert Mallet-Stevens, Carlo Mollino, Jean Prouvé, Alberto Sartoris, Ludwig Viganò, Adalberto Libera, BBPR, Philip Johnson and contemporary architects.
