Insula architettura e ingegneria

Insula architettura e ingegneria was founded in 2002, by Eugenio Cipollone, Paolo Orsini and Roberto Lorenzotti. Insula works from the urban scale to public spaces, from the refurbishment of dismissed areas and buildings to exhibitions and product design. Insula won the first prize in the competitions for the Kindergarden for Tenuta Rubbia in Rome, for the refurbishment of the coastal territory of Latina and for the Urban Park of Coroglio in the former steelplant of Bagnoli (NA).Insula works with an established network of consultants who allowed the office to have an international dimension, starting partnerships with offices in Germany, France and Turkey. Insula has been appointed “correspondant professor” in the Faculty of Architecture in Roma Tre,  collaborating in teaching activities and ensuring internships for graduates and students. Insula is actually carriyng out the new spaces for the Faculty of Architecture in the former slaughterhouse of Testaccio in Rome, the refurbishment of the German Embassy in Rome, a multistorey car park in Scandriglia (RI), the refurbishment of a residential building in Bologna, the new urban park in Bagnoli (NA) and a residential complex for 100 apartments in Naples.
